Kami helps you discover interesting people in the physical spaces you already visit, like parks, gyms, cafés, events, conferences, and meetups. The goal is not more endless swiping. It is better context for real-world connection.

Your Instagram handle gives Kami a lightweight way to understand your public social context: interests, vibe, and potential conversation hooks. That helps the app make smarter introductions than “here is another random person nearby.”

Kami uses your current location to understand what physical space you are in and whether other active users are nearby. It uses cloud services for discovery, but deletes location history so the product does not become a creepy little breadcrumb museum.

Kami can notify you when someone nearby looks relevant or interesting. From there, you can review the context, decide whether it is worth engaging, and start a real conversation if the moment makes sense.

Kami uses cloud infrastructure because real-time discovery requires it. We keep the privacy promise narrow and honest: location history is deleted, and the product is designed around timely nearby context rather than long-term location tracking.

Android is the first test platform. iOS is planned, but the immediate focus is getting the Android beta into users’ hands and learning quickly from real-world usage.
